Terms of use
These terms cover using the Cars Junk Man website and asking us for a junk car offer through it. In short: the offer is for the car you describe, towing is free, and the guides here are practical information, not legal advice. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Asking for an offer
Sending the form asks us to contact you about buying your car. It doesn't commit you to sell, and it doesn't commit us to buy. We may decline a car, for example if we can't confirm it belongs to you.
The offer and the pickup
- An offer is based on what you tell us about the car: year, make, model, condition, missing parts and paperwork. The driver checks the car against that description at pickup.
- Towing is free. We don't take a towing charge out of your offer.
- You're paid at pickup, when the car is collected. We pay by Zelle, Cash App, another digital payment or cash.
- Our offer has no expiry date. It stands for the car you described.
- Same-day pickup is often possible but not guaranteed. We agree a time with you on the phone.
- You must own the car and be able to show it. Without a title, Illinois rules set which papers a scrap sale can use; we confirm yours on the call.
Before pickup
Take your belongings, license plates and anything else you want to keep out of the car. Anything left in it goes with the car.
Information on this site
Our guides explain how junk car removal works and point to official sources, such as the City of Chicago and the Chicago City Clerk, where rules are involved. They aren't legal advice. Rules change, so check the official source for your situation. Links to other websites are there for your convenience; we don't control those sites.
